This option determines whether an early return fee is applied when a rental item is returned before the agreed-upon end date.

Functions and Operations:

  • Enable/Disable:
    • Description: Toggle the application of an early return fee.
    • How to Use:
      1. Set to "Enabled" to activate early return fees.
      2. Leave as "Disabled" if early return fees are not part of your pricing policy.
    • Effect: Ensures customers are charged appropriately for returning rental items early.

When and Why to Use:

  • When to Use: Use this setting if early returns impact your operational costs or rental revenue.
  • Why to Use: Helps maintain a fair and consistent pricing structure for all customers.

2. Copy Email Enabled

Overview

This option determines whether a copy of rental order emails is sent to a specified recipient for internal tracking or record-keeping.

  • Enable/Disable:
    • Description: Toggle the sending of email copies.
    • How to Use:
      1. Set to "Enabled" to send a copy of order emails.
      2. Leave as "Disabled" to turn off this feature.

3. Send Order Email Copy To

Overview

This option allows administrators to specify the email address(es) where copies of order emails will be sent.

  • Email Address Input:
    • Description: Add one or multiple email addresses for receiving email copies.
    • How to Use:
      1. Enter the email address(es) in the provided field.
      2. Separate multiple addresses with a comma if needed.
      3. Save the configuration.
    • Effect: Ensures that designated recipients receive copies of all order emails.

  • When to Use: Use this feature to route email copies to accounting, operations, or customer service teams.
  • Why to Use: Ensures the right individuals or departments are informed about rental orders.

4. Send Order Email Copy Method

Overview

This setting controls how order email copies are sent, either as a standard copy (CC) or a blind copy (BCC).

  • Choose Method:
    • Options:
      • CC (Carbon Copy): All recipients can see the other email addresses.
      • BCC (Blind Carbon Copy): Recipients cannot see the other email addresses.
    • How to Use:
      1. Select "CC" or "BCC" from the dropdown menu.
      2. Save the configuration.
    • Effect: Determines the visibility of email recipients.
