How to Use Manage Existing Customer Group

Accessing the Manage Existing Customer Group Section
  1. Navigate to Admin Dashboard > Customers > Customer Groups.
  2. Locate the desired customer group from the list.
  3. Click Edit next to the group to access its details.
Editing a Customer Group
  1. Group Name:

    • Update the name of the customer group as needed. This name will appear throughout the system.
  2. Tax Class Assignment:

    • Assign a specific tax class to the customer group (e.g., Taxable, Non-Taxable, Wholesale).
    • Tax classes influence the tax calculations for orders associated with customers in this group.
  3. Discount Rules:

    • Discounts can be configured in Admin Dashboard > Promotions > Catalog Price Rules or Shopping Cart Price Rules.

  5. Notes/Descriptions:

    • Add a brief description or internal notes about the group for administrative purposes.
  6. Save Changes:

    • Click Save Customer Group to apply updates.

  1. Navigate to Admin Dashboard > Customers > Manage Customers.
