Overview

The Invoices section in the Admin Dashboard provides access to all invoices generated on the site. Administrators can view complete invoice details by selecting the desired invoice.


Purpose

The Invoices feature is designed to:

  • Provide an organized record of all financial transactions.
  • Enable efficient invoice management.
  • Enable visibility into payment statuses and assist in invoice management, including viewing detailed records of payment history.

Key Features

  1. Invoice Management:

    • View and manage invoices for sales and other financial transactions.
    • Track payment statuses for each invoice.
  2. Detailed Record Keeping:

    • Access comprehensive details for each invoice, including customer information, payment history, and itemized charges.
  3. Sorting and Searching:

    • Sort invoices by attributes like Invoice ID, Customer Name, Date, or Status.
    • Search for specific invoices using customizable filters.

Sections

1. Invoice Overview

This section provides a summary view of all invoices in the system.

Available Data Fields:

  • Invoice ID: Unique identifier for each invoice.
  • Customer Name: The name of the customer associated with the invoice.
  • Order Number: The order associated with the invoice.
  • Date Issued: Date the invoice was created.
  • Due Date: Deadline for payment of the invoice.
  • Amount: Total amount due.
  • Status: Current payment status (e.g., Pending, Paid, Overdue).
  • Actions: Options to view or resend the invoice.

2. Viewing an Invoice

Administrators can view detailed information for invoices.

How to View an Invoice:

  1. Navigate to Admin Dashboard > Financials > Invoices.
  2. Search for the invoice using filters such as Invoice ID, Customer Name, or Status.
  3. Click on the invoice to view details.

Example Use Cases

  1. Sales Transactions: Track and manage invoices for sales orders.
  2. Payment Monitoring: Monitor overdue payments and send reminders to customers.
